Provincial leader visits wastewater treatment plant in Phu Lam Industrial Cluster

(BNP) – On the morning of February 15, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Quoc Chung inspected the operation as well as visited and encouraged workers at the wastewater treatment plant in Phu Lam Industrial Cluster, Tien Du district.

Joining the delegation were Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan; Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies Tran Thi Van and leaders of Tien Du district.

Kinh Bac Green Environment Joint Stock Company invested in the Phu Lam Industrial Cluster wastewater treatment plant, which began building in January 2023 and has a capacity of 10,000 m3/day and night. The total cost is more than 186 billion VND. To present, the plant has finished construction and has been operating in phase I for nearly 3 months, with a processing capacity of 6,000 m3/day and night.


Leaders of the province and district present gifts and encourage the staff and employees at the plant.

Standing Deputy Secretary Nguyen Quoc Chung and provincial leaders directly inspected the plant's operation and praised the efforts of Tien Du district, the investor, and functional agencies in promoting investment in construction, ensuring that the plant opened on time, and contributing to the long-term solution of wastewater pollution in the Phu Lam Industrial Cluster.

Chung requested that the functional sectors of the province, Tien Du district, and Phu Lam commune create conditions for maximum support, close guidance, and supervision of enterprises' wastewater treatment processes so that enterprises can connect to the plant’s wastewater treatment system.
