Provincial leaders attend opening ceremony of People's Police University of Technology And Logistic

Provincial leaders witness the ceremonial parade at the opening ceremony.

Attending the opening ceremony were Major General Bui Minh Giam, Director of Training Department (Ministry of Public Security); representatives from the Cambodian Embassy, Ministry of State Security of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Vietnam; leaders of units under the Ministry of Public Security and some provincial departments, branches and sectors along with officials, lecturers and students of the University.

In the academic year of 2017 – 2018, the People's Police University of Technology And Logistic has deployed and effectively implemented the projects, programs and plans of the Ministry of Public Security in various fields. There were 45 associate professors, PhDs, PhD students, 160 masters and master students. 36 lecturers recognized as good lecturers; 25 collectives and individuals rewarded with excellent achievements in scientific research. Last school year, the Ministry of Public Security awarded excellent emulation flag to the University.

In the new school year 2018 – 2019, the University continued carrying out the work of ideological education, the work of building Party and organizing cadres; linking the school's training with the combat practice, the work of the public security sector; strengthening activities to ensure the quality….

Drumming the new school year 2018 - 2019 and speaking at the ceremony, Director of Training Department Bui Minh Giam acknowledged and praised the outstanding achievements of the People's Police University of Technology And Logistic in the past school year, contributing to effective implementation in the work of education and training to students in major in technology and logistics.

In the coming time, Mr. Bui Minh Giam urged the University to renew contents, programs, methods of training towards modern, Master of Science and technology, meeting the requirements of preventing and fighting with crimes associated with the development of the industrial revolution 4.0. At the same time, the University should build and develop a contingent of officials and teachers with high professional qualifications and good pedagogical capacity, thereby, strengthening domestic and international cooperation in education, training and science and technology, he added.
