Provincial Party Committee to seek urgent measures for Covid-19 control

According to report of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control, over the past time, synchronous, drastical and effective solutions have been carried out for Covid-19 control in the province. Specifically, the province implements self-isolation at home or residence for citizens who has passed through the epidemic area; establishes inter-agency checkpoints posts to control all entrance flows into the province; sets up integrated isolation facilities with about 2,000 beds ready for isolation requirement; prepares conditions as well as isolation plans to welcome 240 Samsung’s experts from Korea for the second time…

Immediately after patient no. 262 (residing in Ha Loi hamlet, Me Linh commune, Me Linh district, Hanoi) who works at SamSung Display Company (Yen Phong Industrial Zone) shows positive for SARS-CoV-2, the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control has worked with the Company and related units to discuss solutions. All persons who  have close contact with patient 262 are reviewed to isolate; shuttle bus for workers, entrance areas, cafeteria, workshops, production lines where the patient work are disinfected . Currently, production line where patient No. 262 works has temporarily stopped operating, other lines of SDV Company are still operating.

At the meeting, the Provincial Party Standing Committee and members of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control debated solutions to control Covid-19.

Delivering speech a the meeting, Secretary Nguyen Nhan Chien urged the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control to continue propaganda and raise people’s awareness of fighting against the epidemic.

He assigned Department of Health to coordinate with relevant agencies to review all patient no.262-involved cases and identify exactly the patient's travel itinerary to timely make plans for each level.

He also requested that Yen Phong district to closely coordinate with provincial agencies to review all F1 and F2 involved cases as well as SDV’s employees who rent accommodation in Yen Phong to conduct zoning and medical declaration according to regulations.

Departments, branches and localities continue ensuring security and order, social welfare policy, supporting enterprises in production and business as well as maintaining academic routine for students.
