Seasonal rice yield estimated at 63.3 quintals per hectare
(BNP) - According to Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, as of October 25, the province has harvested nearly 22,000 hectares of summer rice, accounting for 77.2% of the total cultivated area, with an estimated yield of 63. 3 quintals per hectare, equivalent to the 2021 crop.

The localities with fast season rice harvest progress are Thuan Thanh district 4,277 out of 4,502.6 hectare (reaching 94.98% of the total area); Gia Binh 3,346 out of 3,560 hectare (93.98%); Que Vo 6,000 out of 6,900 hectare (86.95%); Tien Du 2,900 out of 3,533.3 hectare (82.07%). The districts: Yen Phong, Luong Tai, Tu Son city, Bac Ninh city harvested from 30 to 55% of the total cultivated area.
According to the plan, in the winter crop of 2022 - 2023, the whole province strives to plant 6,500 ha of crops of all kinds, mainly the area of potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, zucchini, pumpkins, tomatoes and green vegetables of all kinds.
