Secretary Dao Hong Lan encourages production, business in new year
(BNP) - On February 17, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dao Hong Lan visited and encouraged production, business at Viglacera Corporation (Yen Phong Industrial Park).

In 2020, despite the complicated developments and deep impact of Covid-19, Viglacera Corporation well implemented the "dual tasks" of promoting socio-economic development and fighting against the Covid-19 epidemic. The company exceeded the plan set out with total revenue of VND 9,500 billion, profit increased 15% compared to the plan. The expanded Yen Phong Industrial Park and Yen Phong II-C Industrial Park attracted more than 10 enterprises with a total investment capital of more than USD 300 million.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary Lan appreciated the outstanding achievements of the Corporation in 2020, thereby making significant contribution the province’s socio-economic development.
She urged each enterprise and worker in the industrial park to do well the work for Covid-19 control, raise awareness and responsibility in medical declaration to join hands to push back the epidemic and maintain production and business.
The Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches and localities continue to accompany, support and create favorable conditions for enterprises to develop production and business, said Lan.
On the occasion of lunar new year, the Secretary sent greetings to cadres and employees of the unit and participated in trees planting in the Culture Institution for social housing area in Yen Phong Industrial Park.

General Director of Samsung Vietnam Choi Joo Ho said that in 2020, despite facing many difficulties due to COVID-19, Samsung's revenue still reached USD 65.2 billion.
Visiting some production zones and inspecting the epidemic control, Secretary Lan appreciated the relationship and development contribution of Samsung to Vietnam in general and Bac Ninh province in particular.
She believed that in 2021 and the next period, Samsung Bac Ninh continues to expand the scale of production and new products.
