Secretary Dao Hong Lan presents gifts to Kenh Vang III Pumping Station.

Kenh Vang III Pumping Station put into operation in 2017 with 5 units, a capacity of 2,400 m3/h each, meeting the water demand for irrigation of 1,700 hectares of arable land of Luong Tai district and part of Gia Binh district.

Secretary Dao Hong Lan acknowledged and praised the efforts of the staffs and workers of the Pumping Station in the past time. At the same time, she affirmed the important role of the agricultural sector in ensuring food security as well as serving the socio-economic development of the province, among which, there is the contribution of Nam Duong Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Company Limited in general and Kenh Vang III pumping station in particular.

In the coming time, Lan urged Nam Duong Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Company Limited to continue closely following the process of restructuring the agricultural industry, making a plan to provide adequate irrigation water for production. In particular, during the Lunar New Year, officials and employees of the pumping station need to improve their sense of responsibility, arrange full shifts and crews, maintain operations to ensure water sources for sowing in the best time frame.
