(BNP) - On August 14, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies received and worked with Mr. Joy Puentes Saldise, Chargé d'affaires, Deputy Ambassador of Cuba to Vietnam.

Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan was pleased to welcome Mr. Joy Puentes Saldise to visit and work in the province. He briefed on the province’s recent outstanding achievements in socio-economic development with many indicators among the top in the country. The fields of education, health care, culture, and social security are paid attention by the province and are ahead of the country. Political security, social order and safety are guaranteed.
The Secretary hoped that this visit of the Deputy Ambassador would continue to demonstrate the special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba in general, and between Bac Ninh province and Cuba in particular.
At the same time, he expected that in his position, Mr. Joy Puentes Saldise and the Cuban Embassy in Vietnam would become a bridge for Bac Ninh to have the opportunity to learn, exchange experiences, and cooperate with Cuban localities in potential fields such as economics, education, health, tourism and agriculture. Therefore, this contributes to continuing to bring the special relationship between Vietnam and Cuba in particular and with Bac Ninh province into depth and effectiveness as the leaders and people of the two countries desire.

For his part, Mr. Joy Puentes Saldise sincerely thanked the provincial leaders for the respectful welcome and expressed his impression on Bac Ninh’s socio-economic development and its foreign investment attraction.
He expressed his desire to promote cooperations between Bac Ninh province and Cuban localities based on the potential and strengths of both sides. At the same time, he confirmed that Vietnam in general, and Bac Ninh in particular, is very important and Cuba always welcomes businesses of Vietnam and Bac Ninh to cooperate and invest.
