In the speech, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Nhan Chien stressed, the 60^th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's visits to Bac Ninh is a political event that plays a greatly important role, demonstrating the deep gratitude of Party, authorities, and people of Bac Ninh province to the Party and Uncle Ho. At the same time, it is a chance for each generation to deepen the teachings of the President Ho Chi Minh, further promoting the patriotic emulation movement, determining to successfully accomplish the set-out objectives and tasks.

Bac Ninh has been rich in cultural and revolutionary traditions, where the Ly Dynasty opened the Dai Viet civilization. In his lifetime, despite the busyness for national public works, Uncle Ho also spent to Bac Ninh a deep interest with 18 visits to the province.

Stressing the guidelines of President Ho Chi Minh, in the past 60 years, the Party and people of Bac Ninh have always united, strived for successful implementation of the revolutionary tasks. In the Renovation period, especially after more than 20 years of re-establishment, Bac Ninh has developed dynamically and comprehensively, basically becoming a modern industrial province with many socio-economic indicators in the top of the country from the start of an agricultural province with low socio-economic infrastructure.

Speaking at the ceremony, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan praised and congratulated the Party, Government, Army and people of Bac Ninh province on the great achievements in 60 years of following Uncle Ho’s guidelines.

In the long-term strategy, the National Assembly Chairwoman pointed out, Bac Ninh must be a fast and sustainable economy, striving to become a typical example all over the country in industrial development, particularly high-tech industries. Moreover, the province is responsible for leading in the deployment and application of the achievements of the 04^th industrial revolution, soon becoming the smart city of Vietnam.

The NA Chairwoman also noted that in the process of integration and development, Bac Ninh must always pay attention to preserving the traditional values and cultural identity. The province is known for the home of Quan ho folk songs, which is a unique art form recognized by UNESCO as the intangible cultural heritage of the humankind and a major cultural and historical center of the country. This is not only a pride but also the responsibility for preserving, maintaining and developing the unique art kind.

Receiving the direction of National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, on behalf of leaders and people of Bac Ninh province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Quynh expressed the gratitude for the attention, leadership, and direction of the Party and State for Bac Ninh province over the past years. The Provincial Party and people of Bac Ninh province pledged to unite and join hands to develop the economy, culture, and society so that Bac Ninh would be soon a prosperous and civilized province.

As soon as the ceremony finished, the outstanding art program was taken place to commemorate the 60^th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's visits to Bac Ninh with the theme "Bac Ninh remembers President Ho Chi Minh’s merit forever".
