The speech to commemorate the 110^th birth anniversary of Comrade Ngo Gia Tu emphasized that during the nine years of revolutionary activities, Mr. Ngo Gia Tu has left great value on theoretical and practical aspects of the revolutionary cause of the Party and the people. He reserved the prominent communist, the senior leader of the Party, the great son of Bac Ninh homeland.

Promoting the traditions of history, revolutionary, and culture, after 10 years, from district to town, socio-economic situation of Tu Son town has developed rapidly. In particular, the annual GDP growth rate reaches 11% in the period of 2008 – 2018. The economic structure has been shifted positively, the industry-handicraft industry and services accounted for 98.2%, the agriculture decreased to 1.8%. The socio-economic infrastructure is invested in a synchronized and modern way. The people's living standard and average per capita income are non-stop enhanced, obtaining over VND 110 million/year. Defense and security have been maintained, the Party building and the political system have been strengthened. With the results achieved, in October 2018, Tu Son town was recognized by the Ministry of Construction as a third-class city belonging to Bac Ninh province.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Party Secretary Nguyen Nhan Chien warmly congratulated the comprehensive results that the Party, government, and people of Tu Son town have achieved over the past years.

Entering the new phase with many favorable opportunities and challenges, becoming a grade-3 city is the strong premise for the future development of the town. Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that the Party, government, and people of the Tu Son town continue to focus on directing sustainable socio-economic development. At the same time, the town is also asked to improve the quality of activities in the cultural and social fields, promote the value of cultural and historical relics in the area, step up the administrative reform, effectively carry out the state management in various sectors, and maintain security and order in the town.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Phan Thi My Linh handed over the decision of the Minister of Construction to recognize Tu Son town as a third-class city belonging to Bac Ninh province.

The performances not only boldly describe the traditional culture, revolution but also highlight dynamic development in the integration of Tu Son town as well as honor the revolutionary life of Comrade Ngo Gia Tu.
