In 2018, the Party Committee, the authority and the people of Tu Son town have fulfilled the tasks and achieved many positive results in a wide range of fields. Total GRDP of the town increased by 4.2% compared to 2017. Economic structure shifted into the right direction: industry - construction sector accounts for 70.5%; service sector accounts for 28%; agricultural sector accounts for 1.5%. The value of industrial and handicraft production reached VND 85,375 billion, up 2.4% over the same period. Total retail and service goods circulation reached VND 11,230 billion, increasing by 9.3%. The total budget revenue in the province reached VND 1,646.9 billion, reaching 122.8% of the year plan. The rate of solid classrooms reached 98.2%; the poverty rate decreased to 1.04%,...

In 2019, Tu Son town will focus its all sources to complete 03 political determinations including well implementing the theme of "Bac Ninh acts for the clean environment"; completing the criteria to put the remaining 5 communes into wards; ensuring that over 85% of villages and quarters have standardized cultural ones. At the same time, the town also strives to increase the total GRDP in the area up to from 6 - 6.5%; Industry-handicraft production value reached VND 89,184.3 billion, up 4.5%; 100% of schools and classrooms are solidified; poverty rate decreased to 1%; 100% of communes and wards have incinerators in concentrated residential areas...

Addressing at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Quat acknowledged and praised the achievements of Tu Son town's Party Committee, authority and people in 2018, contributing to the overall socio-economic development of the province.

Tu Son town was ordered to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the Central Resolutions, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Council, especially well implementing the theme of "Bac Ninh acts for the clean environment", to mobilize all local sources to complete set political determination, creating a premise to complete the Resolution of the 17^th Party Congress of Tu Son town, the Standing Deputy Secretary added.
