Vice Chairman Ngo Tan Phuong attends inauguration and handover of houses in Hien Van commune, Tien Du district

(BNP) - On January 16, Mr. Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee attended the inauguration and handover of a house to Mr. Nguyen Quang Kinh in Noi village, Hien Van commune, Tien Du district.

The house of Mr. Nguyen Quang Kinh, a family with revolutionary contributions and difficult circumstances, started construction on December 2, 2024. The total construction cost was about VND 600 million, mobilized from the following sources: VND 100 million from the province; VND 10 million from Tien Du district; the rest from his family and children.

After more than 1 month of construction, the house has been completed on an area of ​​130 m2, including 04 bedrooms, 01 living room and 01 dining room.

At the ceremony, Vice Chairman Ngo Tan Phuong, leaders of Tien Du district, and the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Hien Van commune congratulated and handed over the house to Mr. Nguyen Quang Kinh. At the same time, Phuong affirmed that the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses has profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the will and determination of Party committees at all levels, the authority, and the entire community towards people with revolutionary contributions, near-poor households, and disadvantaged people.
