(BNP) - The Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union has just held a ceremony to honor and award the title of "Outstanding Vietnamese Farmer" to 63 collectives and individuals and 32 "Farmer Scientists" in 2025. Bac Ninh province is honored to have 03 honorable individuals, including 02 outstanding Vietnamese farmers and 01 farmer scientist.

Among which, 02 individuals were honored with the title of "Outstanding Vietnamese Farmer": Mr. Le Xuan Nam (born in 1977, Ram residential group, Tu Lan ward) and Mr. Bui Xuan Que (born in 1987, Huong Trien village, Nhan Thang commune). 01 individual was awarded the title of "Farmer's Scientist": Mr. Le Ba Thanh (born in 1967), Master of Cultivation, former Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Bac Ninh province.
Mr. Bui Xuan Que (born in 1987, Trien village, Nhan Thang commune) is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director of Xuan Mai General Agricultural Service Cooperative, specializing in producing safe vegetables and fruits with a scale of 14 hectares, including 5,250 m2 of greenhouses and greenhouses; total annual revenue reaches about VND 6.5 billion, creating regular jobs for 25 workers.
Mr. Le Ba Thanh (born in 1967), Master of Agronomy, former Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Bac Ninh, was awarded the title of "Farmer's Scientist" with the initiative "Building a model of applying advanced grafting techniques to restructure lychee varieties in Bac Giang province (old)". His initiative has been applied in practice and brought about practical results.
The ceremony to honor and award the titles of "Outstanding Vietnamese Farmer" and "Farmer Scientist" is an annual activity to honor typical and exemplary farmers, who not only enrich themselves and their families, create jobs for workers, but are also important factors in promoting and spreading the movement of farmers competing in production and good business, contributing to agricultural development, building new rural areas and building a strong Vietnamese peasant class.
