Bac Ninh launches emulation campaign in election of deputies to 16th National Assembly and deputies to People's Councils at all levels for 2026-2031 term

(BNP) - The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Hoang Son has just signed and issued Plan No. 190/KH-UBND on launching emulation movements in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of deputies to People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

The plan aims to create a vibrant atmosphere of competition in organizing the election, ensuring democracy, equality, legality, safety, and efficiency; striving to mobilize the highest possible voter participation rate, so that election day truly becomes a festival for the entire nation. Through the emulation movement, raise awareness of citizens' rights and obligations and the sense of responsibility of all levels, sectors, and the people in participating in the election; and at the same time, promptly commend and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in election work.

The emulation campaign focuses on successfully organizing the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, linked with patriotic emulation movements, contributing to the successful implementation of political tasks, socio-economic development, and ensuring national defense and security of the province. Agencies from the provincial to the grassroots level are encouraged to effectively carry out advisory, guidance, supervision, inspection, and monitoring work on the implementation of election tasks in accordance with legal regulations and the set schedule; and to promptly report and propose solutions to any arising issues.

The plan calls for strengthening information and propaganda work about the election through diverse, rich, and effective forms, contributing to raising the self-awareness of citizens, agencies, and organizations in exercising their rights and obligations to vote. Election leadership and guidance will be carried out strictly, ensuring democracy, legality, safety, and efficiency, focusing on preparing candidates, promptly resolving complaints and denunciations from citizens, and maintaining political security and social order before, during, and after the election.

The plan also emphasizes the strict implementation of information and reporting procedures, ensuring full and timely reporting; and organizing a safe, economical election, free from any irregularities.

Awards and commendations are given to groups and individuals that have demonstrated excellent leadership, mentoring, and direct participation in the electoral process. Awards include: Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Certificates of Commendation from other relevant authorities. The awarding process must adhere to ideals, be consistent with accomplishments, and prioritize recognizing grassroots collectives and individuals who actively contributed to the electoral process.
