Regulations on color of ballot papers for 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, term 2026-2031

(BNP) - The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Hoang Son, recently signed Official Document No. 26/UBND-NC regulating the color of ballot papers for the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, term 2026-2031, aiming to standardize the organization of elections in the province.

Regulations on the color of ballot papers.

According to the Official Document, the regulation on the color of ballot papers is based on the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies; the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Elections; Resolution No. 40/NQ-HĐBCQG dated September 29, 2025 of the National Election Council stipulating the mẫu văn bản hồ sơ ứng dụng (form of application documents) and the submission of application documents; and the regulations of polling stations in the election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies at all levels, term 2026-2031.

The Provincial People's Committee stipulates the colors of ballot papers for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, specifically:

- The ballot paper for the 16th National Assembly (Form No. 13/HĐBC-QH) shall be printed in pink;

- The ballot paper for the Provincial People's Council (Form No. 14/HĐBC-HĐND) shall be printed in yellow;

- The ballot paper for the Commune People's Council (Form No. 15/HĐBC-HĐND) shall be printed in blue.

The Provincial People's Committee requests the Provincial Election Committee, the Department of Interior Affairs, the People's Committees and Election Committees of communes and wards to base their actions on the content of this Official Letter to organize and implement the preparation and organization of the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to the People's Councils at all levels in the province in accordance with regulations, uniformly, strictly, and effectively.
