(BNP) – On the morning of October 16, the Provincial Mobilization Committee of the “For the Poor” Fund held a conference to launch the Peak Month of mobilizing support for the “For the Poor” Fund in 2025. At the recent times, the "For the poor" Fund Mobilization Committee at all levels in the province has done a good job of advising, guiding, and organizing the reception, management and use of the "For the poor" Fund of the province in the first 9 months of 2025.
In particular, the "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee of Bac Ninh province (old) has taken from the Fund to support 20 Great Unity houses for poor households with a total budget of VND 1.3 billion; repaired 21 Great Unity houses; supported the construction and repair of more than 2,500 houses in the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; visited and gave gifts to tens of thousands of households in difficult circumstances and households in especially difficult circumstances; supported production development, helped the poor with medical examination and treatment, gave gifts to the poor..., thereby, contributing to helping poor households overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and gradually escape poverty.
According to the Plan, the time to mobilize support for the Provincial "For the Poor" Fund in 2025 will be carried out from October 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025, focusing on the peak month from October 17 to November 18, 2025. The target is to mobilize about VND 20.5 billion for the whole province. In which, mobilize each cadre, civil servant, public employee, worker; officer, professional soldier, defense worker to support from 01 day of basic salary or more; businesses and entrepreneurs, depending on the conditions of scale and revenue, allocate a part of the budget to support the "For the Poor" Fund.
Concluding the conference, Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Ha requested the Provincial "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee to do a good job of advising and coordinating to effectively implement the work of mobilizing support for the Fund; promote propaganda work on the purpose, meaning, and results of mobilizing and supporting the poor, as well as propagating and praising poor households and poor people who have risen out of poverty; acknowledge and honor the practical support and assistance of businesses, entrepreneurs, agencies, organizations and individuals for the poor and poor households, thereby, contributing to the good implementation of social security work in the locality, promoting the spirit of solidarity, mutual love and mutual assistance in the community./.
