(BNP) - On the morning of February 23rd (the 7th day of the first lunar month), at Lac Phu 1 residential area (the road leading to Truc Lam Phuong Hoang Zen Monastery), the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Dung ward solemnly organized the launching ceremony of the "Tree Planting Festival to Forever Remember Uncle Ho" in the Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026. The launching ceremony of the "Tree Planting Festival in Eternal Gratitude to Uncle Ho" in the Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026 is an activity with profound political, social, and environmental significance, demonstrating the responsibility of the Party Committee, government, and people of the locality in protecting the ecological environment and promoting sustainable socio-economic development. Through this, it aims to widely disseminate information and mobilize all cadres, Party members, departments, organizations, armed forces, schools, and people in the area to actively participate in planting, caring for, and protecting trees; practically achieving accomplishments to celebrate the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party, the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and the 66th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's launching of the "Tree Planting Festival".

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Ha Giang, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Dung Ward, said that organizing the "Tree Planting Festival in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh" in the Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026 is a concrete and practical activity to implement the Resolution of the Ward Party Congress, creating an important foundation for achieving environmental and sustainable development targets in the coming period.
