(BNP) - On the afternoon of March 22nd, at the Bac Ninh Provincial Conference Center, the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee solemnly organized a ceremony to honor outstanding Youth Union officials and commemorate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - 2026).

Leader of the Central Committee attending the ceremony was Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Permanent Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, and President of the Vietnam Student Association, along with representatives from the Youth and Children Affairs Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Youth Union Tran Van Dang expressed his sincere gratitude to the generations of Youth Union officials over the years who have devoted their lives and established a strong foundation for the organization's work and the province's youth movement during the commemoration ceremony. Additionally, he stated that the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has consistently been a leading force and a socialist school for youth, making significant contributions to the defense, construction, and battle of the Fatherland. In keeping with this custom, Bac Ninh's youth have consistently worked hard and accomplished numerous remarkable feats.

At the ceremony, delegates and a large number of youth union members from the province exchanged views and held discussions to review the 95-year journey of building and developing the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary Nguyen Hong Thai acknowledged and praised the outstanding achievements of the Youth Union and young people throughout the province in the past period. He also affirmed that many Youth Union officials have matured and been entrusted with important positions in the political system, contributing to affirming the role of the Youth Union as a "nursery" for cadres.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee honored 10 outstanding young people of Bac Ninh province in 2025; commended 21 outstanding Youth Union officials and excellent models in the work of uniting and gathering young people; and many outstanding individuals were awarded the "For the Young Generation" commemorative medal by the Central Youth Union.
