(BNP) - This morning (May 26th), over 50,400 candidates throughout Bac Ninh province officially began the 2026-2027 high school entrance exam. At the examination centers, candidates arrived early in the morning with a relaxed mindset, ready for the first exam.

In the morning, candidates took the Literature exam in essay format for 120 minutes. Some examination centers had a large number of candidates, such as Hiep Hoa No. 2 High School with 47 examination rooms; Tien Du No. 1 High School with 45 examination rooms; Han Thuyen High School and Yen Phong No. 2 High School each have 44 examination rooms…
For the 2026-2027 school year, the entire province has more than 50,400 candidates registered to take the entrance exam for 10th grade in public high schools, taking the exam at 77 examination centers. To ensure the organization of the exam, the Steering Committee for High School Admissions in the 2026-2027 school year of Bac Ninh province has mobilized more than 5,000 officials, teachers, and staff to participate in the exam.
According to the reporter's observations at the Ly Nhan Tong High School examination center (Kinh Bac ward), from early morning, candidates were present at the examination center to take the first exam with confidence and readiness. Nguyen Khanh Linh, a candidate taking the exam at Ly Nhan Tong High School, said that due to the hot weather, she proactively arrived early to have time to prepare thoroughly before entering the exam. I hope to do my best in the first exam, Literature, thereby gaining more confidence for the subsequent exams to achieve high results in the exam.
The Ly Nhan Tong High School Examination Board has 40 exam locations with a total of 951 candidates. The examination board has fully prepared the necessary facilities; coordinated with security forces to ensure order, traffic safety, and medical services… and instructed all participating staff to strictly adhere to the exam regulations, absolutely preventing any errors to ensure the exam takes place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations.
According to the exam schedule, in the afternoon, candidates will take the English exam for 60 minutes in multiple-choice format. On the morning of May 27th, candidates took the Mathematics exam for 120 minutes, consisting of two parts: multiple choice (50 minutes) and essay (70 minutes). On the morning of May 28th, candidates applying to Bac Ninh Specialized High School and Bac Giang Specialized High School will take the specialized subject exam in essay format for 150 minutes.
