(BNP) - On the afternoon of January 14th, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Son visited and worked with Bac Ninh Football Joint Stock Company (Phu Xa village, Van Mon commune, Bac Ninh province).

Bac Ninh Football Joint Stock Company is the investor, manager, and operator of Bac Ninh FC, which was founded in the end of 2023 under the Bac Ninh Province Men's Football Development Project. Bac Ninh FC has had several notable successes after more than two years of operation, including winning the 2024 Spring Four-Team Football Tournament, being promoted from the Second Division to the First Division of the National League for the 2025-2026 season, reaching the quarterfinals of the 2025-2026 National Cup, and aiming for promotion to the V.League and the establishment of a professional football club.
In addition, the company collaborates with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize and operate the Bac Ninh FC Youth Football Training Center, implementing training programs for the U11, U13, and U15 age groups, gradually building a sustainable foundation for the development of football in Bac Ninh province.

The company proposed that the Provincial People's Committee direct relevant departments and agencies to support and expedite the completion of legal procedures for the Bac Ninh FC Football Academy construction project; support land clearance work; and consider upgrading the project area's transportation infrastructure. At the same time, it begs that preferential policies for socialized investment in the sports sector be implemented in accordance with the legislation, as well as support and upgrades to facilities at Viet Yen Stadium to assist the organizing of Bac Ninh FC's home matches...
During the meeting, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying several issues related to the progress and approval process of the Bac Ninh FC Football Academy construction project.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman Mai Son acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and achievements of Bac Ninh Football Joint Stock Company, Bac Ninh FC, the coaching staff, Mr. Park Hang Seo, and the players in contributing to the development and elevation of Bac Ninh football and promoting Bac Ninh province to friends both domestically and internationally.
The Standing Vice Chairman assigned relevant departments and localities to promptly advise and submit proposals to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and resolution; directly discuss and clarify some issues within their authority.

The Standing Vice Chairman requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Finance, and Van Mon commune to closely coordinate with Bac Ninh Football Joint Stock Company to urgently review and complete the project dossier for the construction of the Bac Ninh FC Football Academy in accordance with the law. Bac Ninh Football Joint Stock Company should continue to invest in and upgrade facilities and football fields, creating the best conditions for Bac Ninh Football Club to develop further and achieve higher rankings in the coming years.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is advising on the development of a plan to organize annual amateur and youth football tournaments at the provincial and regional levels; and is promptly developing a plan to establish the Bac Ninh Provincial Football Federation in accordance with regulations.
