21 exciting matches of the group stage of the U19 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship
(BNP) - After three days of non-stop competition (from June 10th to 12th), the Group stage of the U19 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship, LienvietPostbank Cup in 2018, closed with 21 exciting matches at Gymnasiums of the province and of Bac Ninh University of Sports and Physical Training.

In 3 days of competition in the group stage, 15 teams joining the tournament devoted the number of technical, dramatic and attractive matches to audiences and fans, in which most of the teams that have been highly evaluated have victories.
On the first day of competition (June 10th), 07 matches were kicked off with specific results: Iran beat Hong Kong 3-1; Korea lost 2-3 to Taipei; Thailand beat Vietnam 3-1; Australia beat Macao 3-1; New Zealand defeated Malaysia 3-2; Kazakhstan whitewashed India 3-0; Japan steamrolled China 3-0.
On Monday (June 11th), the scores of matches were that Australia beat Iran 3 - 2; Hong Kong won Macao and Japan won Thailand with the same score 3-0; Sri Lanka was beaten by New Zealand 1-3; China beat Vietnam 3-1; Taipei whitewashed Kazakhstan; meanwhile Korea also whitewashed India 3-0.
On the final day of the group stage (June 12th), there were 7 matches taken place with results as follows: Hong Kong beat Australia 3-2; Malaysia beat Sri Lanka 3-0; Korea beat Kazakhstan 3-2; Iran won Macao 3-0; Japan won Vietnam 3-0; Thailand beat China 3-2; and Taipei whitewashed India 3-0.
According to the order of each group, Japan is ranked first, second place is Thailand, the third rank is China, and the last position is Vietnam.
In Group B, the first rank is Taipei, the second rank is Korea, the third is Kazakhstan, and the last one is India.
In Group C, Iran ranks first, Australia is in second place, Hong Kong ranks third and Macao is at the bottom.
Finally, in Group D, New Zealand, Malaysia ranks first and second in turn, the final position is Sri Lanka.
In the group stages, Vietnam is unfortunate placing in the group with strong competitors in the region, including Thailand, China, and Japan. At the bottom of the pool, Vietnam will against New Zealand in the second round before expecting to the ticket to the quarterfinals.
