9th “Books and Reading Culture” Festival takes place on December 1st

The 9th “Books and Reading Culture” Festival attracts a large number of students to visit and read books.

In the framework of the festival, there will be rich activities such as Display of books and documents about the Communist Party of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh, Provincial Geographic books, reference books, foreign language books for students, children's books, life skills books; Reception of Bac Ninh’s electronic geodetic documents; Organization of exchanges and talks between the historian Duong Trung Quoc and readers and students of Ninh Xa Junior High School, Dai Phuc Secondary School (Bac Ninh city); Organization of intellectual games and so on.

The “Books and Reading Culture” Festival aims to help readers access various books and articles, approach the development of science, helping readers have a habit in actively equipping knowledge from the library's books and newspapers, thereby, building a reading culture and contributing to honoring readers. This is also an opportunity to honor the book's value, affirm its role, position and importance in social life; honor the readers and those involved in collecting, creating, publishing, printing, distributing, storing and promoting the books.
