Ancestor altar house of Le Duy family - traditional education place of family

(BNP) - Ancestor altar house  of Le Duy family (Tam Giang commune, Yen Phong district) is an ancient architectural work, built by the family in the 19th century to worship ancestors and commemorate the famous scholar Le Duy Dan. The ancestor altar house  is classified as a historical and cultural relic by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 1489/QD-UBND dated October 5, 2009.

On the gate is carved architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty.

The monument of the ancestor altar house  is located in the middle of the East village, facing the East, surrounded by a densely populated residential area.

The ancestor altar house currently has the following works: 03 - compartments  Tien Te, 03-compartment Dai Bai and 01-compartment Hau Duong.

A pair of dragons face the moon on the roof of Dai Bai building.

At present, the Tien Te, Bai Duong and Hau Duong buildings of the relic are preserved intact with traditional wooden structures and artistic carvings depicting many vivid themes with typical Nguyen Dynasty architectural style.


The altar of Vietnamese Heroic Mother and Heroic Martyrs of the family.


The throne is dated to the Nguyen Dynasty.
