Bac Ninh attends Viet Nam Days Abroad 2022 in Austria

Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son visits the exhibition of Dong Ho folk paintings.

The program took place in Vienna, with the chairmanship of Vietnam's Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son. The program has three outstanding events: the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Austria, the Cultural Space of Vietnam and the Vietnam-Austria Business Forum.

At the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Austria, the symphony orchestra of the Vietnam National Academy of Music together with Austrian artists performed some typical musical works of the two countries.

At the Vietnam - Austria Business Forum, there will be opportunities to learn and promote economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

Artist Nguyen Dang Tam introduces the art of making Dong Ho folk paintings to people in Austria.

At the Vietnam Cultural Space, some unique art forms of Vietnam are introduced. In addition, there are many cultural activities such as Vietnamese tea art, lacquer painting performance, ethnic musical instrument performance... Bac Ninh province introduced and performed the art of Dong Ho folk painting making - folk wood carving craft (Song Ho commune, Thuan Thanh district, Bac Ninh province). This is a line of paintings produced by traditional manual methods, using materials available in nature. Dong Ho folk paintings fully converge historical, cultural, literary and artistic values, deeply reflecting the beliefs and daily life of Vietnamese people.

Viet Nam Days in Austria 2022 took place from September 28 to 29 in Vienna with the participation of Vietnamese Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son who is on his official visit to Austria, and other politicians, businesses, and people in Austria.
