Bac Ninh has 96.9% of households achieving title of cultural family

According to statistics, in the first 6 months of 2024, Bac Ninh had 324,631 cultural families, reaching 96.9%; 730 cultural residential areas, reaching 100%; and deployed the construction of 72 models of typical cultural residential areas in districts, townships and cities.

The implementation of a civilized lifestyle in weddings and funerals has also seen many positive changes. In the first 6 months of the year, the province had 3,925 weddings, most of which were conducted according to traditional, civilized, and economical ceremonies. Localities organize the awarding of marriage certificates at the ward People's Committee headquarters. For officials and party members, when organizing their own or their children's weddings, they must report to the party committee and unit heads about the time, format, and number of guests.

The province had 2,927 funerals, of which 1,950 were cremations and electric burials, accounting for 66.6% (up 2.2% over the same period in 2023); funerals are conducted solemnly, basic superstitious customs are eliminated; do not play filial music after 10pm and before 6am...

In the coming time, the Steering Committee of the Movement at all levels will carry out reviews, evaluations, recognition and commendation of titles in the movement according to regulations as well as continue to promote the movement "All people unite to build cultural life", actively propagating and mobilizing people to participate in the movement, contributing to strengthening the great solidarity of the entire people.
