Bac Ninh Provincial Library wins Festival of Librarians to propaganda and Introduce Books in 2021

The festival is expected to take place from June 2021 in Ho Chi Minh City, where the historical mark of the person 110 years ago went to find a way to save the country, but due to the complicated development of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Organizing Committee has switched to online form. Nearly 400 librarians of 16 teams from the provinces and cities and 2 teams of the Ministry of Public Security participated in the Festival.

Bac Ninh Provincial Library participates in the program with the theme "Bac Ninh will always be grateful to you", the duration of 30 minutes consists of 3 parts: Greeting - Brightening a road forever; Propaganda and introduction of the book "President Ho Chi Minh and Bac Ninh" released by the National Political Truth Publishing House in 2019; Talented competition with the solo performance "Bac Ninh remembers the people forever". The jury recognized and highly appreciated the investment in elaborate staging and the quality of information and propaganda content of the Bac Ninh Provincial Library team.

After more than 2 months of implementation, the Organizing Committee has received 18 participating programs with 23 works. Specifically, 4 Excellent prizes went to the People’s Police Academy, Bac Ninh Provincial Library, Da Nang General Science Library, and Dong Nai Provincial Library.

From November 1-10, the Organizing Committee posted the videos attending the festival on the channel “Vietnamese Books and Wisdom” managed by the Library Department (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) for the audience to enjoy and vote.

The festival is an activity to renew the propaganda method of the library industry, bringing efficiency and spread. really strong, contributing to encouraging reading, promoting the development of reading culture in the community. This method is effective, safe and appropriate in the new situation, it should be maintained and creatively promoted, especially when the COVID-19 epidemic is still complicated. The festival has aroused patriotic tradition, national pride, instilled fire, will, and aspiration to contribute, develop a prosperous country, foster trust with the Party and Uncle Ho, contribute to raising awareness. It is the responsibility of all classes of people, especially the young generation, to study and follow Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style.
