Bac Ninh’s delegation visits and works in Korea

Participants of the Delegation included Mr. Dao Quang Khai, Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Ta Dang Doan, Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Secretary of the Bac Ninh City Party Committee and leaders of a number of departments, branches and Tu Son city.

The delegation paid a courtesy visit to Mayor of Gumi city, Vietnamese Ambassador to Korea; attended Gumi - Bac Ninh economic forum; visited and worked with several Korean corporations including Hyosung, Amkor.

On December 5, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly deputies, who was then a member of the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation led by President Nguyen Xuan Phuc on a state visit to Korea, visited and worked at Amkor Group together with Bac Ninh’s delegation.

Speaking during his working visits, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Vice Chairman Dao Quang Khai briefly introduced the outstanding achievements in socio-economic development of Bac Ninh province over the past time with many indicators in the top of the country. At the same time, he confirmed the important contribution of the Korean business community in the province including those from Gumi city. The Vice Chairman also discussed and answered the difficulties and problems of businesses in person.

Khai wishes that Korean corporations and businesses will continue to expand their investment in their areas of strength in Bac Ninh such as high-tech industrial production; solutions about data center, new materials and automobile materials; while at the same time, introducing their member companies, partners, suppliers and production chains to invest in Bac Ninh in the near future.

On this occasion, Tu Son city and Bonghwa district signed an agreement on strengthening friendship and cooperation in the fields of mutual interest, promoting exchanges between the two  authorities, businesses and mass organizations of the two localities.
