Chairman of Provincial People's Committee attends the groundbreaking ceremony of Han Thuyen Street project

Han Thuyen Street is one of key projects of the city to celebrate the 65^th anniversary of the City Liberation Day. The project was built by Bac Ninh City Construction Investment Management Board with a total investment of over VND 87 billion. The project has a length of 759m, among which, the starting point is connected with Han Thuyen Road in An Huy urban area and the ending point is connected with Hoang Quoc Viet Street. The project is expected to be completed and put into use in 2022, thereby, synchronously connecting traffic in the area, contributing to completing urban infrastructure as planned.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Nguyen Tu Quynh highly appreciated the coordination between Bac Ninh City People's Committee and relevant departments and sectors in speeding up the progress of site clearance and necessary procedures.

Besides, the Chairman urged the investor to focus on implementing project; regularly monitoring, inspecting and accelerating the construction progress, promptly resolving obstacles in the construction process with an aim to achieving the best quality, safest and shortest time of the project as well as ensuring labor safety and environmental sanitation, minimizing the impact on the living environment of people in the area.

He further urged the City People's Committee to direct Vu Ninh ward, Thi Cau ward and related units to create favorable conditions for contractors, especially the work of site clearance; continue to study and propose long-term plans to build and expand roads with an aim to creating a connection and reducing traffic jam in the city.
