Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang presents traditional craft village products to Mr. Oshita Hajime.

At the meeting, Mr. Oshita Hajime thanked the provincial leaders for their interest in creating favorable conditions for the Group to coordinate with Thuan Thanh Environment Joint Stock Company to implement the project of building high-tech domestic solid waste treatment plant for energy generation in Cuu Yen village, Ngu Thai commune, Thuan Thanh district with a capacity of 500 tons of waste/day and night; generating capacity from 11 to 13 MW. Started in January 2022, up to now, the project has achieved 50% of the workload.

Mr. Oshita Hajime is committed to using the most modern and optimal technologies, striving to put the plant into operation in the fourth quarter of 2023, thereby effectively contributing to the environmental treatment in the province. At the same time, he expressed his hope to receive the attention and support of the provincial leaders so that the project can be implemented on schedule.

Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang quickly informed about the outstanding achievements on the province’s socio-economic development over the past time. Up to now, Bac Ninh has become the industrial center of the country with more than 1,700 FDI projects from 38 countries and territories. On the other hand, Bac Ninh province also paid special attention to environmental protection, considering this a key factor in the roadmap to become a centrally-run city.

She affirmed that the project of high-tech domestic solid waste treatment plant for energy generation is in line with the current development trend of the province in order to thoroughly treat the generated solid waste. Therefore, she wished the Group to quickly accelerate the project implementation as well as build a model of waste treatment to replicate in the province and the the country.

Giang assigned the Departments, functional branches and Thuan Thanh district to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles so that the project can be implemented on schedule.
