(BNP) - In the morning of November 8, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang received and worked with Mr. Ahn Soon Hong, representative general director of Hanwha Techwin Company (Que Vo Industrial Park).

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ahn Soon Hong said that Hanwha Techwin Company of Hanwha Group (Korea) specializes in manufacturing high-tech security equipment. In recent years, especially in 2022, thanks to the attention, support and facilitation of Bac Ninh province, the Company has made great efforts to overcome the difficult period due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, maintaining maintain stable and efficient production and business. Along with that, the Company always cares about the interests of employees as well as actively supports social security activities of the province.
In the coming time, the company has a policy of expanding production scale, especially the establishment of an artificial intelligence development center in Bac Ninh. It is expected that in the next 3 years, the company will recruit and train workers with high technical skills in the field of artificial intelligence. The company wished Bac Ninh’s leaders, relevant departments, agencies and sectors to create favorable conditions for the Center to be deployed and put into operation soon, thereby, improving the quality and efficiency of business operations, making Bac Ninh to become the high-tech industrial center of the country.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Chairwoman Giang congratulated and praised the efforts of Hanwha Techwin Company.
She affirmed that Bac Ninh has always been a trusted companion of businesses, the success of businesses is also the success of the province. She suggested that the company's leaders always keep a close and understanding relationship, trust with Party committees, authorities and people in the province as well as promptly report difficulties and problems in the process of operation to the provincial leaders. The Company as well as Korean businesses continue to be a bridge to cultivate the friendship and good cooperation between the two countries Vietnam - Korea and between Bac Ninh province and other provinces and cities of Korea in the near future, Giang added.
The Chairwoman welcomed Hanwha Techwin Company's policy of establishing an artificial intelligence development center in Bac Ninh. This will be a great step for the business, creating a spillover in promoting research and hi-tech application for businesses in the province.
