Contest “Family reading - Connecting love” of Bac Ninh province in 2025

Winning works at the Bac Ninh Provincial Reading Culture Ambassador Contest in 2024.

Contestants are family members living and working in Bac Ninh province; multiple generations in the family are encouraged to participate (grandparents, parents, children, grandchildren).

Entries can be in one of two forms: written or video clip. The prose entries must be 3,000 - 5,000 words long; written in Vietnamese, typed, font size 14, Times New Roman, or handwritten with equivalent size; illustrated and decorated entries are encouraged to show the family’s creativity.

For 10-minute video clips; effects and techniques can be used and image and sound quality must be guaranteed; maximum capacity is 2GB, resolution is 1080px, minimum frame size is 854x420 or higher. The video is saved in a popular format and suitable for posting on YouTube; videos are encouraged to use illustrations and vivid effects to express the family’s unique creativity.

The content of the contest entry includes 03 parts: Introducing the family and reading activities at home; introducing 01 work or a series of works in the family bookshelf that has left the deepest impression on the family; sharing solutions to form reading habits, connecting love for family members.

Candidates send their entries from May 25 to May 30, 2025 to the Division of Professional Affairs and Technology, Bac Ninh Library at No. 01, Ly Thai To street, Suoi Hoa ward, Bac Ninh city, Bac Ninh province.

According to the Plan, the Contest’s Closing and Award Ceremony will take place on June 26, 2025. The Organizing Committee will award Certificates and prizes to the winning contestants, including: 02 First prizes, 06 Second prizes, 12 Third prizes, and 30 Consolation prizes.
