Cultural color at the weekend

Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Tu Quynh and leader of Bac Ninh city visit the folk game area

The event with participation of thousands of visitors included a wide range of useful cultural activities such as enjoying food and beverage booths, particularly several traditional handicraft specialties of wards of Thi Cau, Dap Cau, Hoa Long; joining cultural exchange activities consisting of traditional dance, modern dance, dancesport performed by dance sport clubs in Bac Ninh city. In addition, many folk games were organized, attracting the interest of visitors such as challenging on the rope bridge, stilt walking, blindfolded to drumming, mandarin square capturing, bamboo dancing, roller skating, molding, painting. The art program and exhibition activities of trade and tourism products organized on walking street have contributed to satisfying the needs of cultural entertainment of local inhabitants in Bac Ninh city.

At the program, on the occasion of International Children Day, June 1^st, Bac Ninh city’s Study Encouragement Association in coordination with Ocean Edu English Center awarded 10 scholarships worth VND 10 million to 10 students in need staying in Bac Ninh city and various gifts to a great number of children joining this event.
