Delegation of Cheonan city (Korea) visits and works in Bac Ninh

On behalf of provincial leaders, Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Phong welcomed the delegation of Cheonan City to visit and work in the province and introduced some outstanding achievements in socio-economic development in thelast time. With a favorable geopolitical position, after 22 years of re-establishment, Bac Ninh has basically become a modern industrialized province with many indicators in the top of the country. This success is due to the important contribution of the business community, especially the FDI enterprises with more than 1,600 FDI projects and total investment of about USD 18.3 billion. In particular, there are 600 projects from Korea with a total capital of about USD 12.3 billion.

The Vice Chairman expressed his hope that Bac Ninh and Cheonan cities would establish close relationships, frequently exchange and support each other in the fields such as industrial development, environmental protection, health care, culture, sports, tourism….

Mr. Koo Bon Young, Mayor of Cheonan City said that Cheonan is one of the leading industrial development cities in Korea with many businesses having strengths in manufacturing electronics, cosmetics and automobiles. At the same time, it is home to many prestigious universities with nearly 20,000 students. In the coming time, he hoped that the provincial leaders would continue to facilitating Korean businesses to operate and develop as well as commit their efforts to introduce enterprises of Cheonan city to cooperate and invest in Bac Ninh.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong and Mayor of Cheonan City Koo Bon Young signed the working minutes between the two localities.

Earlier, the Cheonan City delegation visited Anyone Vina Company (Que Vo Industrial Park), Viglacera Infrastructure Development Investment Company and Samsung Display Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Yen Phong Industrial Park).
