Delegation of Ministry of Planning and Investment works in Bac Ninh
(BNP) - On June 4, a delegation led by Mr. Vu Dai Thang, Alternate Member of Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment worked with Provincial People's Committee on implementing and disbursing public investment plans in the province in 2019.

Following the direction of the Government and the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Provincial People's Committee has directed departments and localities to implement public investment plans in accordance with relevant laws, contributing to the province's socio-economic development tasks. In 2019, the total public investment capital of the local budget was VND 6,736.3 billion. By the end of May 15, 2019, the local budget capital disbursed VND 2,120 billion, reaching 31.5% of the yearly plan and estimated to be disbursed 50% of the plan on June 30, 2019. The central budget capital disbursed to the end of May 31, 2019, is VND 28.8 billion, reaching 29.4% of the plan.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Vu Dai Thang highly appreciated the direction as well as the results in carrying out the public investment of Bac Ninh province with many positive and effective solutions. The rate of public investment disbursement from the beginning of the year has been higher than the national average and many other localities in the region. Good experiences and difficulties of Bac Ninh in the process of implementing public investment are an important basis for the Ministry of Planning and Investment to synthesize and report to the Government to soon solve in the near future.
On behalf of provincial leaders, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee briefed the delegation on outstanding achievements in the province's socio-economic development after 22 years of re-establishment, pointing out many top ranking targets such as attracting FDI, export value, budget revenue, infrastructure investment,... Bac Ninh leader also hoped to continue to receive support of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, relevant ministries, helping Bac Ninh to solve difficulties and obstacles to further improve the efficiency of public investment in 2019 and the following years, contributing to socio-economic development in the direction of a civilized and modern urban area, becoming a centrally-run city in 2022.
Previously, the delegation of Ministry of Planning and Investment had conducted a field survey at the project of Phat Tich - Dai Dong Thanh bridge and the project of improving and upgrading Ngu Huyen Khe river.
