Implementing the Prime Minister's Decision No. 655 on approving the project of construction of trade union institutions in Industrial Parks and export processing zones", Bac Ninh province is included in the investment portfolio to build 2 Trade Union Institution Zones in Yen Phong Industrial Park and Que Vo Industrial Park. Among which, covering on an area of 4.28ha, the Trade Union Institution project in Yen Phong Industrial Park with a total investment of about VND 900 billion is determined by the General Confederation of Vietnam as the first project and implemented right in the first month of 2021.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Confederation Nguyen Dinh Khang emphasized that the province has a large number of union members and workers working in the province, so the construction of the Trade Union Institution is very necessary project with an aim to better serve the work of caring for workers.

He affirmed that the Confederation will focus on capital sources, call for capable and experienced enterprises to participate in the project. He expressed his hope to receive the attention from Bac Ninh province to soon deploy the project.

On behalf of the province's leaders, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Dao Hong Lan thanked the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for choosing Bac Ninh as the construction unit of the Trade Union Institutional Zone. This is not only the desire of the General Confederation of Labor of Vietnam but also the desire and responsibility of Bac Ninh province for the workers in the province.

She also wished the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to continue to pay more attention to Bac Ninh as well as labor movement and trade union activities in the locality.
