Exhibition of documents with theme "August Revolution – Milestone of times” opens

(BNP) - On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - 2023) and the Vietnam National Day (September 2, 1945 - 2023), the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism organized the opening of the Exhibition of documents and talkshow with the theme "August Revolution - A Milestone of the times" on August 18 at the Provincial Library.


Leaders cut the ribbon to open the exhibition "August Revolution - Milestone of the times".

The exhibition included many activities such as the display of nearly 4,000 titles of books, journals, and magazines on the Communist Party of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh, the August Revolution, and National Day (September 2).

In the lobby of the Provincial Library, 20 typical documentary photos about the August Revolution are shown in big size.

Compilation and display of the full-text thematic bibliography on the theme "August Revolution and National Day September 2 - Golden history page of Vietnamese national history."

The book and newspaper booth attracts a large number of youth union members.

The full-text thematic bibliography is meticulously done, printed on A0 size, with nearly 3,650 articles from 1945 to the present to introduce an overview of the August Revolution's event chronicle, historical witnesses, and experienced lessons; the creative application of those experienced lessons in the struggle for national reunification from 1945 to the present.

At the talkshow with the theme “August Revolution - Milestone of the times", Prof. Dr. Hoang Chi Bao, a senior expert of the Central Theoretical Council pointed out the reasons for victory, experienced lessons, and affirmed the historic significance of the August Revolution in 1945 and the Vietnam National Day. At the same time, he disseminated the achievements of national construction and defense over the last 78 years, particularly the more than 35 years of renovation work, thereby increasing patriotism and national pride among youth union members; efficiently implementing the 13th National Party Congress Resolution as well as the aim of prosperous people, strong country, democracy, justice, and civilization, firmly stepping up to socialism.

The opening of Exhibition of documents with theme "August Revolution – Milestone of times” will take place from August 18 to September 10, 2023 at the Provincial Library.
