Government to remove difficulties for enterprises

According to report, PM Phuc said though the Vietnam’s growth of 3.82 percent in the first quarter was the highest in the region, it was nonetheless a ten-year loonly more than half of the plan. To minimize impact of the epidemic, the Government has taken all measures such as social distancing, monetary easing policy; administrative management; while issued policies to support people and businesses affected by epidemics such as monetary policy, fiscal tool, social welfare, electricity and telecommunications prices, etc.

In Bac Ninh, synchronous, drastical and effective solutions have been carried out for Covid-19 control to ensure safety for people and businesses in the province, especially timely meet capital needs for production and business; improve access to loans; require suspension of social insurance payment for those affected by Covid-19 epidemic...

Speaking at the conference, PM Phuc affirmed that the Covid – 19 epidemic caused many difficulties and damages to economies around the world, but on the other hand, it offered an opportunity for any economies which know how to adjust and rearrange the global economic and commercial situation. Therefore, it is very important to prepare scenarios and anticipate solutions in advance to revive our economy when the epidemic ends.

He urged authorities at all levels and localities to take urgent measures for removing difficulties in production and business; promoting administrative reform as well as cutting down procedures to reduce costs for people and businesses.

The PM ordered full disbursement of 28 billion USD of public investment for 2019 and 2020. Besides, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs initiated a package to support people affected by COVID-19.

Delivering speech on Bac Ninh’s side, Secretary Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien assigned the Provincial People's Committee to urgently develop specific programs and action plans following direction of the Prime Minister.
