Gross Regional Domestic Product highly increases in first quarter of 2021

(BNP) - Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in the first quarter of 2021 (at 2010 constant price) was estimated at VND 33,285 billion with an increase of 8.16% compared to the first quarter of 2020.

The temporary economic structure shift is mainly due to the negative effects of the Covid-19 epidemic: Industry and construction sector accounts for 78.5%; service sector accounts for 15%; agriculture, forestry and fishery sector accounts for 2.8%; the sector of product tax area excluding product subsidies accounts for 3.7% (by 2020, respectively: 77.5% - 15.9% - 2.8% - 3.8%).
