Total state budget revenue reaches more than VND 9,600 billion

(BNP) - According to Department of Statistic, in the first quarter of 2021, the total state budget revenue was estimated at VND 9,624 billion, up 5% over the same period last year.

Among which, domestic revenue reached VND 7,958 billion, up 5%; revenue from Customs reached VND 1,666 billion, up 4.7%.

Total state budget expenditure in the first quarter was estimated at VND 7,054 billion, an increase of 56.8% compared to the same period last year, due to the fact that investment and development expenditures accounted for the main proportion of 73.6%, a very high increase (89,5%) over the same period last year. Frequent expenditure increased slightly by 5.7% over the same period last year, among which spending on education - training and vocational training accounted for the largest proportion.
