Leaders of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee congratulate Bac Ninh Bishop’s palace on occasion of Easter Day 2024
(BNP) - On the occasion of Easter Day 2024, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President - General Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee on March 27 visited and congratulated Bac Ninh Bishop’s palace. Joining the delegation was Venerable Thich Thanh Van, Secretary Commissioner of the Central Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha's Executive Council.

Participants at the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Loi, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Ha Sy Tiep, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization; leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors.
At the meeting, Vice President Nguyen Thi Thu Ha sent best wishes to Bishop Do Quang Khang and the priests, dignitaries, monks, and all parishioners of the Bac Ninh Bishop’s palace on the occasion of Easter season in 2024. At the same time, she acknowledged, appreciated and thanked the contributions of bishops, priests, monks, dignitaries and Catholic compatriots in Bac Ninh Bishop’s palace to the province’s socio-economic development as well as actively participated in major campaigns launched by the Government and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
On the other hand, she hoped that the local priests, dignitaries, monks, and lay people would well implement the guidelines and policies of the Party and State, the Pope's teachings, and the direction of the Vietnam Bishops' Conference, "Living the gospel in the heart of the nation to serve the happiness of the people."
For his part, Bishop Do Quang Khang thanked for the attention of the provincial leaders to the religious activities of Catholics in the province recently. He also affirmed that he would continue encouraging Catholic dignitaries and laypeople to live a "good life", strengthen solidarity and stick with local party committees, authorities and people to contribute to the province’s socio-economic development.
