PPC’s Secretary receives National Liaison Committee for Vietnamese revolutionary soldiers imprisoned by enemy

(BNP) - On February 27, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee (PPC) and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies received the delegation of the National Liaison Committee for Vietnamese revolutionary soldiers imprisoned by the enemy (Liaison Committee) led by Mrs. Truong My Hoa, Former Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Former Vice President of the Social Republic of Vietnam on the occasion of the Liaison Committee holding a spring meeting and implementing tasks in 2024 in Bac Ninh province.

Participants at the reception were Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of the PPC and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mrs. Tran Thi Hang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Loi, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Mrs. Tran Thi Van, Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies.

PPC’s Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan briefed on Bac Ninh province’s changes since its re-establishment until now including its outstanding achievement in socio-economic, cultural and educational development with many indicators among the top of the country. People's lives are constantly improved; political security, and social order and safety are maintained; the construction of the Party, government, Fatherland Front Committee, and socio-political organizations, including the Veterans Association, the Association of Vietnamese Revolutionary Soldiers who were imprisoned by the enemy, and the Association of Former Youth Volunteers is always paid attention by the province, he added.

The Secretary hoped that the Liaison Committee and each member would continue to implement well the work of traditional education, awaken love for the homeland and idealize the revolution for the young generation so that they can do a good job of teamwork.

Former Vice President Truong My Hoa highly appreciated Bac Ninh province’s potential and outstanding development as well as leadership guidelines and socio-economic development strategies in recent years. She hoped that Bac Ninh would continue to promote its tradition, unity and inner strength in implementing the goals set by the Congress Resolution. She also believed and expected that in the coming time, Bac Ninh would gain greater achievements, take solid and sustainable steps in the integration and development process, and contribute positively to the country’s overall development.

Hoa further sincerely thanked the attention, support and creation of favorable conditions for the Liaison Committee to organize a spring meeting and implement tasks in 2024 in Bac Ninh province.
