Making curtain in Hoai Thuong

Hoai Thuong has a long-standing profession of making curtains. About 12, 13 years ago, the village opened curtain production workshops as well as established small and medium-sized development companies, improving both quality and quantity.

Sewing curtains is divided into many stages including cutting, threading the curtain, sewing the curtain, checking the goods, closing the curtain bag, welding, bundling, and finally baling.

Making curtains is one of the traditional crafts that have been replicated by Hoai Thuong people. At present, there are nearly 150 households with 4 companies specializing in making nets, creating jobs for thousands of workers in and outsite the commune.

In the coming time, Hoai Thuong continues to focus on promoting the development of traditional handicrafts.
