Management of tourism products that pose risks to tourists’ health strengthened
(BNP) - In Document No. 115/UBND-KGVX, the Provincial People’s Committee directs to strengthen the management of tourism products that pose risks to tourists’ lives and health.

The Provincial People’s Committee assigns the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, agencies and units to request organizations and individuals that provide adventure tourism products to strictly comply with legal regulations on tourism and related laws, as well as regulations on conditions for tourism products that pose risks to the tourists’ lives and health. The Department needs to proactively inspect, maintain and upgrade facilities and equipment; review service processes, as well as develop risk management plans.
The functional agencies conduct an overall review, assess risks, and warn of situations that may occur in adventure tourism activities, especially in unusual weather conditions; develop rescue plans at tourist areas, destinations, and areas that provide adventure tourism products and services.
The competent authority inspects, examines and supervises organizations and individuals providing adventure tourism products to promptly detect, prevent and strictly handle acts that cause insecurity for tourists. In addition, it propagates and raises awareness of law compliance and sense of the responsibility of organizations, individuals, and tourists in providing and using adventure tourism products.
