Meeting with military generals on occasion of 80th anniversary of founding of Vietnam People's Army

Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of the People's Council, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and a number of relevant departments and sectors.

At the meeting, the delegates reviewed the tradition of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army in general and the provincial armed forces in particular. The province has 75 military generals, 18 of which are currently working. Over the years, the generals have always been exemplary in term of propagating and mobilizing the masses to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, as well as the State's policies and laws; caring for and nurturing revolutionary ethics, and educating the younger generation in traditions; actively participating in, mobilizing, spreading and arousing many humanistic values ​​in life...

During the meeting, Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan sent his best wishes to the generals and military leaders of Bac Ninh hometown. At the same time, he quickly informed about the province’s outstanding achievements in the fields of socio-economics, Party building, national defense and security after 27 years of re-establishment. Up to now, Bac Ninh has basically become a modern industrial province, meeting the criteria of a type 1 urban area and aiming towards a centrally-run city, especially Bac Ninh currently has no poor households.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, the Secretary expressed his affection and gratitude for the contributions, dedication, and sacrifices of generations of Vietnam People's Army officers and soldiers, especially the generals who are Bac Ninh’s children to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland over the past 80 years. At the same time, he affirmed that the generals’ contributions to Bac Ninh serve as powerful motivator for the next generations to constantly strive, try, and better complete the assigned tasks.

In the coming time, the Secretary hoped that the generals would continue to contribute their enthusiasm, intelligence and valuable experience to the province so that Bac Ninh could soon complete the goals and targets of a first-class urban area and soon become a centrally-run city as desired by the people and generals from Bac Ninh.

On behalf of the generals, Lieutenant General Nguyen Nhu Hoat, former Director of the National Defense Academy, Head of the Liaison Committee of Bac Ninh Generals, expressed his excitement at the socio-economic development results of the province since its re-establishment. At the same time, he affirmed that whether he has completed his mission or is still working, regardless of his position, each general of the Bac Ninh army will continue to promote the good qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", always loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, devoted to the people, be the core political force in the community, create strong trust for the Party Committee and local authorities, join hands to build the homeland of Bac Ninh increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.
