Military wins first place in entire tennis team at National Sports Congress
(BNP) - On the morning of December 19, at the Hanaka Paris Ocean Park Tennis Courts, the finals of the men's and women's singles and the awarding of tennis prizes in the program of the 9th National Sports Congress took place.
The Organizing Committee awards medals to excellent athletes in the men's singles event.
After 6 days of competing in men's and women's singles, the Organizing Committee awarded medals to excellent athletes. In the men's singles, first place belonged to athlete Ly Hoang Nam (Tay Ninh); second place belonged to athlete Pham Minh Tuan (Ho Chi Minh City); third place is shared by athletes Nguyen Dac Tien (Hanoi city) and Nguyen Quang Vinh (Ho Chi Minh City).
In women's singles, first place belonged to athlete Savanna Ly Nguyen (Army), second place belonged to athlete Phan Diem Quynh (Binh Duong); third place belonged to athletes Nguyen Thi Phuong and Nguyen Thi Mai Linh (Hanoi city).
Sport of tennis in the program of the 9th National Sports Congress has officially ended after 10 days of competition (from December 10 to 19). In the end, the Military Delegation won first place in the whole group with 4 gold medals, 2 bronze medals; Tay Ninh delegation won second place in the whole group with 2 gold medals and 1 bronze medal; Ho Chi Minh City won third place with 1 gold, 6 silver, 2 bronze.
