More 3 new national treasures recognized

(BNP) – On December 25th, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has issued Decision no. 2090/QD-TTg on recognition of 24 new national treasures.

A set of statues of 10 sacred animals of the Phat Tich Pagoda.

According to the Decision, three new national treasures of Bac Ninh province including a set of statues of 10 sacred animals of the Phat Tich Pagoda (dating from the 11th century, preserved at the Phat Tich Pagoda, Bac Ninh northern province), statues of four female Buddha of the Dau – Duy Lau region (dating from the 18th century, preserved at the Dau, Phi Tuong, Dan pagodas in Bac Ninh), dragon-carved stone pillars at the Dam Pagoda (dating from the 11th century, preserved at the Dam Pagoda, Bac Ninh) were recognized.

Until now, the province has 8 national treasures.
