Nguyen Trung Clan Ancestral House
(BNP) - Nguyen Trung Clan Ancestral House was built more than 120 years ago today in Tam Giang Commune, Yen Phong District. It was moved and reconstructed on a large and open site in the heart of Vong Nguyet village over time. It is designated as a provincial-level architectural and artistic relic in Decision No. 1399/QD-UBND dated November 18, 2015.

According to the genealogical book "Nguyen Tong the he ha tap" published in Gia Long 14 (1815), the Nguyen family in Vong Nguyet village, Tam Giang commune is divided into 5 branches that have developed and succeeded for 21 generations. became one of the big, studious and scholarly families in the region.

Vong Nguyet village, accessible via Nguyen Trung clan ancestral house, is where the ancestors of the 3rd sect, branch 3 of the Nguyen family, are worshiped. Thus, Nguyen Trung clan ancestral house has been a site of worship for 7 generations, from Nguyen Chinh Truc to Nguyen Van Trung (the eldest male is Dr. Nguyen Luong Thanh).
The Tien duong’s roof is engraved with three Chinese characters that read "Phung to duong" in the middle of a book of letters.
Nguyen Trung clan ancestral house has an architectural scale that includes three oval wooden structures for worship and one two-story attic for living. The architecture of the "chong diem 8 mai" is roofed with comic nose tiles on the gate, and the blades are embellished with rattan-turned-dragon motifs.

The tien duong building has 3 compartments and 2 lean-tons. The structure is built of birch wood and features four sets of columns, each with 4 rows of pillars set on a blue stone platform etched with lotus flowers.
