Opening the Sports competition of the Procuracy sector - "the 9th Legal Protection Newspaper Cup"

Leaders give honorable flags to teams.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the Supreme People's Procuracy Bui Manh Cuong emphasized, in recent years, units in the procuracy sector have promoted the movement of physical training and sports to improve health and spiritual life of officials. Since 2004, the Supreme People's Procuracy has entrusted Legal Protection Newspaper to organize 9 sports events, thereby, creating a healthy and useful playground for unit to exchange working experience and promoting solidarity of inspectors to fulfill their assigned tasks.

For the second time, the tournament has been held in Bac Ninh where is known for cultural and academic traditions and home of comrade Hoang Quoc Viet who was the first Director of the Supreme People's Procuracy. This is also an opportunity for Bac Ninh to promote its dynamic, developing and hospitable image to domestic friends.

This year's tournament attracted nearly 500 athletes participating in 45 sets of medals in 3 contents: Badminton, Table Tennis, and Tennis. Bac Ninh joined all 3 competitions with 20 athletes. Teams compete for a round of points to select the best teams in the Semi-Finals and Finals.

After the Opening ceremony, all contents in the qualifying round were kicked off. The tournament takes place within 2 days, from 19 to 20 July 2019.
