(BNP) - On February 2, 2024, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Vuong Quoc Tuan visited the Giap Thin Spring Flower Festival in 2024 (Festival) held by the Provincial Ornamental Creature Association at the Nguyen Van Cu monument campus area (Bac Ninh city).

Taking place from January 15 to February 8, the Festival attracted more than 100 members from the Ornamental Creature Association of the province and 10 provinces and cities in the Northern region as well as 200 people in the province to participate in displaying flowers for Tet such as: peaches, kumquats, apricot blossoms, phalaenopsis orchids, etc., and traditional craft village products.

This is the first time that the Provincial Ornamental Creature Association has organized a Flower Festival with the aim of introducing flower and traditional craft village products to the members. At the same time, the Festival creates a destination for people to enjoy and meet their purchasing needs during Tet.

Visiting the Festival, PPC’s Standing Vice Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan expressed his joy when enjoying the many types of flowers, ornamental plants and traditional craft village products of the members of the Provincial Ornamental Creature Association and people of the province as well as members of the Ornamental Creature Association of other provinces and cities. He hoped that through the Festival, the members would exchange, share, learn from experience, improve their skills and create ornamental works of great value both artistically, aesthetically and economically, thereby, promoting the ornamental movement.
