Provincial leaders offer incense on occasion of 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory

The provincial leaders offer wreaths to commemorate the Heroes and Martyrs.

Joining the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, and Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; leaders of the provincial departments, branches, sectors and unions as well as Bac Ninh city.

The Dien Bien Phu historic victory will forever be an eternal epic, recorded in the nation’s history with brilliant golden pages. During 9 years of long resistance war, especially 56 days and nights of digging into mountains, sleeping in underground tunnels, and being drenched in rain, Dien Bien soldiers, young pioneers and frontline civilians created the Dien Bien Phu historic victory of “illustrious in five continents, shaking the globe”.

With the traditional morality “When drinking water, remember its source”, our Party, State and people always “remember and cherish” the heroic merits of the Martyrs and Heroes who heroically sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people.

Towards the 70^th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory, recently, together with the country, all levels of party committees, authorities, agencies, branches, sectors, unions, and socio-political organizations from the province to the grassroots have organized many practical activities to express gratitude to martyrs’ families, Dien Bien soldiers, young pioneers, and frontline civilians who directly participated in the Dien Bien campaign.

Offering wreaths with the words “Eternal gratitude to the Heroes and Martyrs”, the provincial leaders respectfully expressed their gratitude and pride for the Heroes and Martyrs, the outstanding children of the Bac Ninh homeland, who did not regret their blood, bones, or youth to contribute to the nation’s victory through the resistance wars.
