Provincial leaders work with Samsung Complex of Yen Phong Industrial Zone

(BNP) – In the afternoon of November 7th, Mr. Nguyen Tien Nhuong, Permanent Vice Chairman, in charge of the Provincial People’s Committee had a working session with Samsung Complex of Yen Phong Industrial Zone to hear the report on production and business activities of 10 months and task directions for the final months of 2019, implementation plan for 2020.

At the meeting, Mr. Choi Joo Ho, General Director of Samsung Vietnam Complex thanked the attention and assistance of Bac Ninh province’s leaders of in the consolidation of the projects of Samsung Display Vietnam Co., Ltd., and at reported the results of Samsung Complex of Yen Phong Industrial Zone’s production and business activities in the past time.

He said that in the first 10 months of 2019, the revenue of Samsung Complex of Yen Phong Industrial Zone reached USD 29.5 billion, and it is expected to reach USD 35.8 billion for the whole year. In 2020, the complex will strive to achieve revenue of USD 38 billion with an increase of more than 6% compared to 2019.

In the coming time, Mr. Choi Joo Ho hoped the provincial leaders to continue to care and create favorable conditions for Samsung Display Vietnam Co., Ltd to receive preferential investment levels when investing in expansion.

Speaking at the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman Nguyen Tien Nhuong would like to thank Samsung for important contributions to the province’s socio-economic development in the years.

The Permanent Vice Chairman wanted the Samsung Complex of Yen Phong Industrial Zone to make efforts and promote production and business, striving to achieve the highest revenue, contributing to the growth of the province. On that basis, Bac Ninh province will have orientations to develop development plans in 2020 and the period of 2020 - 2025.

 He committed that Bac Ninh will continue to be a bridge with the Government, ministries and central branches to help the Samsung Complex of Phong Yen Phong Industrial Zone receive the highest incentives as prescribed.
